Covenant Amendments 0

Posted on August 01, 2018 by admin

Hello Eagle Crossing Homeowners,

We hope you are all having a fun and safe summer!

We wanted to remind everyone that in June, the Board of Directors put forth two amendments to the covenants for Eagle Crossing. The first is an amendment to cap the number of rental homes and the second, is an amendment to allow outdoor storage buildings (sheds). Ballots were mailed to every homeowner.

If you have already returned your ballot, THANK YOU!  Unfortunately thus far, we have received only 25% of the ballots. Please return your ballots so that your vote can be counted!   You can find a ballot via this link – http://docdro.id/11S6KNh.

Per Section 9.2 of the covenants, for any amendment to pass, there must be at least 75% of the homeowners that vote in favor of it. Eagle Crossing has 853 homes. Each amendment, on its own, must receive at least 640 YES votes to pass that amendment.   Your vote is important!

Please read and review both amendments. IMPORTANT: You must completely fill out the ballot for your vote to count. It is extremely important that you provide your address. Each homeowner gets one vote and we must keep track of who has voted and who hasn’t. Partially completed ballots will not count.

Thank you,

Eagle Crossing Board of Directors

Covenant Amendment Vote 0

Posted on June 21, 2018 by admin

Eagle Crossing is a planned community with Covenants and Restrictions to help protect the property values of all homeowners. The Board of Directors is putting forth a vote for two amendments to the covenants. (You should have received the amendments and a voting ballot in the mail with your dues statement.) The first is an amendment to cap the number of rental homes and the second, is an amendment to allow outdoor storage buildings (sheds).

The amendment would cap the number of rental homes at 12%. Feedback from the annual homeowner surveys has shown strong support for a cap on rental homes. Also, data shows that rental homes in Eagle Crossing have a higher rate of covenant violations than owner occupied homes.

Under the current covenants, detached outdoor storage buildings are prohibited. If passed, the amendment would allow sheds but with certain restrictions (see the amendment for those restrictions). Again, feedback from the annual survey and annual meetings has shown strong support to allow sheds.

Per Section 9.2 of the covenants, for any amendment to pass, at least 75% of the homeowners must vote in favor for it. Eagle Crossing has 853 homes. Each amendment, on its own, must receive at least 640 YES votes to pass that amendment.

Eagle Crossing Community Pools 0

Posted on May 24, 2018 by admin

Hello Homeowners,

After a long winter, summer is finally here and our pools will officially open on Saturday, May 26th.  Pool Hours are 9am to 9pm, seven days a week.  The pools will close for severe weather warnings.   Homeowners can use both pools in our subdivision – one is located in Tallgrass north of 56th Street and the other in Silverleaf south of 56th street.  Your pool pass will work at either pool.

Pool Passes
When you purchased your home, you should have received a pool pass.  If not, there is a $10 charge for a new pool pass.  You can send a check or money order for $10 to Eagle Crossing HOA, 509 National Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227.  Once the payment is received, a new pool pass will be mailed to you. If your pool pass is lost, there is a $10 replacement fee.  If you have a pool pass but it is not working, please contact  Julie Konkle.  Please note that your HOA dues must be current in order for your pool pass to work.

Children 15 and under MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.   This is for their safety and to ensure adequate supervision to make sure our pools are safe and enjoyable for everyone.  There are pool monitors at both pools but, their primary role is to manage the pool equipment and to ensure that the pools are only being used by Eagle Crossing residents and guests.

We would also like to remind everyone that the HOA has the right to revoke your pool privileges for misconduct or violation of the rules, as well as non-payment of HOA dues.

Please remember to keep our common areas clean and tidy and help to make Eagle Crossing a great community for everyone!

If you have any questions please feel free to contact your Property Manager, Julie Konkle at 317-207-4281 or by email at eaglecrossing@mgroupmanagement.com.

We hope you all have a fun and safe swimming season!
